The Red Crayolas foi uma banda de rock psicodélico de Houston, no Tenas, formada por estudantes da University of St. Thomas em 1966. A banda era liderada pelo cantor, guitarrista e artísta visual Mayo THompson, junto com o baterista Frederick Barthelme e Steve Cunningham. O trabalhado deles preconfigurou o punk rock e o movimento “no Wave” dos anos 80 em Nova York.
